What is BR-Hope?

God loves Bruchsal and every single person who lives here.

The name “BR-Hope” stands for Bruchsal (BR) and “hope”. We would like to give every visitor the opportunity to find more hope for their lives in God. That is why the name also hints at the English sentence:
“Be our hope!”

The prayer room of BR-Hope is a place for encountering God. Each visitor can meet God in a personal way. You will find various “stations” with prayer activities that will help you to reflect, meditate and pray. A Christian oasis of peace – here, you can refill your batteries with new strength and hope for your everyday life in the holy presence of God.

At certain times of the week, there is also a prayer team available. The team will be glad to pray with you and for you – for a general blessing, for healing (physical, mental and/or spiritual) or for any other issue or concern.

About us

BR-Hope is run by a non-denominational group of Christians who come from a range of different churches in and around Bruchsal, Germany.

Our vision is to create a “room of hope”, where visitors can either encounter God personally through the prayer activities on offer or by praying with our team about their needs, worries, illnesses or fears. In this way, they will hopefully discover that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are at work in our lives today. We hope to bring everyone, even in the middle of their everyday lives in town, into close contact with the love of God.

That is why we are delighted to work together for Him – and also for you!

A brief encouragement for all of us, that God truly acts and heals: The day before yesterday, I had a chat with a neighbour who suffers from severe backache. I asked her if I could pray for her, and she immediately agreed. I placed my hand on her lower back and started praying. Even as we were praying, my neighbour said that her back was becoming really warm. Her pain was much better after the first prayer, and after the second one it had gone completely! My neighbour was totally delighted! Yesterday, I saw her again in the garden, and asked her how she was doing. She said that the backache hadn’t come back!

Ms. X said that she had been blessed with both physical and psychological healing – she is doing well…

Yes, at the moment his heart is doing fine. 😃 Halleluia, thank you for your prayers!

Ms. Y came into the prayer room at BR-Hope and explained that she was suffering from really bad headaches. I prayed with her for a while, and she seemed to be feeling much better. I saw her again a few days later, and she said that the headaches had vanished completely and hadn’t come back since.

Ms. Z was miraculously discharged from the hospital last night. She is feeling 100 times better, and her values are looking good. If you consider that on Wednesday she was in intensive care and fighting for her life, then it’s absolutely justifiable to call this healing a true miracle!

What we believe

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (Jesus, The Bible, John 10:9-10)

We are a group of Christians who feel called by God to offer this expression of love and hope to the people of Bruchsal. We share the following fundamental Christian beliefs that also form the basis for the work of BR-Hope:

We believe:

that God created everyone as a unique person and gave them a wealth of gifts,
that His Son, Jesus Christ, died for us, rose again on the third day and is still alive today,
that we can experience Him in our lives today through the working of the Holy Spirit and through His Word in the Bible.

We believe:

that the love and forgiveness of God through Jesus is the foundation for our lives,
that God wants to reveal himself to us even nowadays through the workings of the Holy Spirit, for example through prophetic words of wisdom or supernatural healing.

We intend:

to create space in prayer for the Holy Spirit to take action and we trust that HE heals, consoles and refreshes.

We believe:

that we can turn to God with all of our problems, worries, needs and illnesses; He is waiting for us and hears our prayers.
We believe in the power of prayer and trust that we can find help and refuge in God in every situation.

Healing prayer at the following times:

Tuesdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Where:
Stadtgrabenstraße 25, 76646 Bruchsal

How: Our prayer team is available and will be glad to pray with you about any concerns on your heart. We shall listen to you carefully and take time for prayer. We shall pray with you about your worries and concerns and/or pray for healing (mind, body and/or spirit) or simply call on God’s blessing for you.

Prayer stations for a personal encounter with God

Our room is open for private prayer at the following times:

Tuesdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursdays from 6 – 7.30 p.m.

The prayer room is open and supervised. You are welcome to come in and try out the various prayer activities, enjoying a time of peace, meditation and prayer in the company of God. Naturally, the supervising team member would also be glad to pray with you, if required, but there is no prayer team available.

These times are relatively flexible, as they depend on individual team members; if it should be necessary to cancel a particular session, we shall announce this on the website. Equally, individual sessions may be added as a bonus at short notice – check the website regularly for any new dates!

3.
Online prayer

We continue to offer online prayer sessions in a video chatroom. Please send us a mail to info@br-hope.de, so that we can set up an appointment with you and send you the relevant link. You then just need to click on the provided link at the arranged time to enter the chatroom. Normally, there will be two members of the prayer team available to chat and pray with you.
